Welcome to Seattle by Sarah, a blog where I share my favorite (and some of my least favorite) things about Seattle. Whether you’re visiting from out-of-town, recently moved to the Emerald City or are just looking for something new, I hope my blog can be a useful guide!
I’m Impact Hub Seattle‘s event manager by day, a girl-about-town by night, and a dedicated volunteer in my spare time. My social life is purposeful – I’m always looking to connect people with good causes, great spaces and local delights. I am always on the lookout for a good city view, a great patio for happy hour, and for the best grapefruit beverage.
If you think I look familiar, it’s probably because I led you on a LivingSocial Adventure once upon a time, or maybe you saw me review Skillet Diner, Pomegranate Bistro and Il Terrazo Carmine on Check, Please NW. Or maybe you attended the Women’s Funding Alliance’s AMPLIFY event and saw me speak on the panel about transforming from a volunteer to a leader. Maybe you read the piece I wrote for Crosscut’s spring fundraising campaign about the importance of creating both physical and online spaces for change. You might have spotted my picture on the front page of the Quixote Foundation‘s website, or, most recently, seen me speak at the Seattle Legal Innovation Technology Meetup.
Regardless of how you’ve found yourself here, I hope you’ll continue to follow along with #seattlebysarah!
